Our Focus

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy for Home Modifications & Maintenance

Our home modifications and maintenance team helps keep those who are aged or who have a disability safe and independent in their home by modifying and maintaining the home environment to enhance individual capacity and needs.

Odyssey Builders specialises in providing quality and innovative construction services and support products that help customers remain living in their own home. We work with a strong network of approved suppliers to provide you with the best solution to meet your needs for everyday living.

Odyssey Builders has been providing quality assessments and disability access services to customers for more than 20 years. We take great pride in improving the lifestyle, mobility and safety of our customers.

The assessment for home modifications includes both the internal and external home environment. Odyssey Builders can offer free or subsidised assessments for eligible customers (we can often determine your eligibility over the phone). Assessments may also be covered by Medicare and private health funds. Our team of highly qualified, friendly and experienced staff are always happy to be of service so please contact us if you have any questions regarding eligibility or assessment.

Home Modifications and Occupational Therapy

In most cases the home modification process starts via a referral from an Occupational Therapist. An Occupational Therapist is a qualified practitioner who ensures people are able to participate in or complete everyday activities, thereby promoting independence, safety and a continued quality-of-life.

Everyday activities may include:

At Odyssey Builders we have our own team of Occupational Therapists who have specialised skills within the areas of home modifications who work directly with our implementation team to make sure your home modifications meet your specific needs and enable you to remain living in your home.

Referrals can be received from:
